What is child sponsorship?
Child Sponsorship is a wonderful way to help change the life of a child, who has lost a parent who was an Organ Donor. In addition to dealing with the emotional loss of a parent, children of Organ Donors are sometimes faced with dealing with financial stress. Becoming a sponsor will give you the chance to build a new relationship with one special child who will know you by name as you correspond and share your lives with each other. |

How does sponsorship work?
When you sponsor a child, you’ll receive our Sponsorship Welcome Kit containing information on your child, photos of the child and family, information on communicating with your child and much more. We will also be happy to answer your questions and help you and your child get the most out of your sponsorship experience.
How much should be contributed for a sponsorship?
There are no set rules for how much you should contribute and for how long. Any amount that you can give will make a difference and will help make the children of Organ Donor’s dreams come true.
Your contributions can be a one-time donation or you can make your contribution weekly, monthly or yearly.
Contributions can be used for health care, education, paying rent, utilities and any other expenses to help make the children of Organ Donor’s dreams come true.

They grow up without a father to teach them to drive or walk them down the aisle at their wedding. They grow up without a mother to sing lullabies at night or help them through their delicate teenage years.
Those are the really tough moments for these children and what gets these children through the days and nights is remembering that their Mom or Dad was an Organ Donor Hero who saved others.
Not only did these families lose a parent, but many times the parent that passed away was the family’s sole wage earner. In addition to dealing with the emotional difficulties, families are now faced with financial hardships.
